Platinum wedding band, ring lost in water at beach in Naples has been found and returned. While tossing a football in the water at the beach on New Year’s Eve the ring slipped off his finger. A thorough grid search of the enter area (wet sand and water) over course of several days finally produced “the needle in the haystack”, only by God’s Grace. While vacationing in Florida (from Columbia) with his wife and daughter and kicking around a soccer ball on the beach at Anna Maria Key, Sergio felt his wedding band slip off his finger.  Being in the right place at the right time, Sergio was reunited with his ring.  Another smile in paradise!😁

Lost Gold Ring Found at Vanderbilt Beach, Naples, FL

While swimming at Vanderbilt Beach on Sunday 4/22/18, Michele suddenly and unexpectedly felt one of her beautiful 14k gold rings come off her finger.  For nearly two hours dozens of people, some from her group and other swimmers nearby, frantically searched the crystal clear water with masks and snorkels, but could not find the lost ring.  Despite incoming tide and increasing wind and surf, Michele did the right thing, she made note of several reference points and calmly remained in place while others sought help and arranged for location services.  Upon my arrival Michele described the ring and we carefully reviewed reference points, both of which made for a quick and successful recovery.  Notwithstanding use of $3k+ in search equipment, I found the ring within seconds, mere inches from where she was and had remained standing.  A picture is worth a thousand words…

 

Apple iPhone X found by Metal Detector at Naples Beach Hotel, Naples, FL

Apple iPhone X found by Naples Beach Hotel this morning in about 4 feet of water under 15” sand in the breaking wave zone.  While the good news of the find was welcome by the owner, sadly the iphone with otherwise cosmetically pristine exterior (after thorough cleaning and drying) could not be revived as it had been pounded by the waves, being submerged too long resulting in irreparable internal water damage.   God bless!

While watching the beautiful sunset with her husband at Vanderbilt Beach, Kim’s iPhone somehow managed to slip out of her pocket and get lost in the dry sand.  They looked on and off for several hours with no luck.  During a grid pattern search the phone was located.  Another very happy person reunited with her lost item, which just so happened to contain hundreds of priceless and irreplaceable photos of her daughters wedding a week earlier.  Good luck and God bless!
