[July 8, 2019 – Delnor Wiggins Pass / Naples, Florida]. While vacationing in Naples, Florida from Pennsylvania and spending a day at Delnor Wiggins Pass, Amber noticed that the 3 rings she’d put “in the super safe place” were not there. Apparently the increasing surf from the wind and the waves had knocked them loose, having turned zippered pockets inside out. An internet search via smart phone and quick conversation with the park ranger quickly yielded the same referral – Remember “it’s only lost until you call!” Well, the rest is history and the story continues, all three rings back where they belong. The hugs and smiles tell all.

[June 25, 2019 – Naples, Florida] “Es war mal wieder eine wunder schōne Urlaubszeit in Florida. Unsere verlorene Ringe wurden gefunden.” While on vacation from Germany and spending a day at the beach with her husband, Juliane suddenly noticed her gold ring slip off her finger and disappear in the surf. With increasing wind and waves crashing from an incoming thunderstorm they ended their search, declaring the ring forever lost. [April 23, 2019 – Naples, Florida] Got a call from Brian’s wife who reported having lost two rings at the beach. While flipping closed the door to the boat lift, Steve’s gold wedding band suddenly slipped off his finger, hit the boat dock with a “ping”. (March 11, 2019) While vacationing and spending the day at a beautiful sunny Naples Florida beach, Kelly noticed that her favorite gold ring was missing, possibly lost in the fine white sugar sand. While swimming at Vanderbilt Beach on Sunday 4/22/18, Michele suddenly and unexpectedly felt one of her beautiful 14k gold rings come off her finger. For nearly two hours dozens of people, some from her group and other swimmers nearby, frantically searched the crystal clear water with masks and snorkels, but could not find the lost ring. Despite incoming tide and increasing wind and surf, Michele did the right thing, she made note of several reference points and calmly remained in place while others sought help and arranged for location services. Upon my arrival Michele described the ring and we carefully reviewed reference points, both of which made for a quick and successful recovery. Apple iPhone X found by Naples Beach Hotel this morning in about 4 feet of water under 15” sand in the breaking wave zone. While the good news of the find was welcome by the owner, sadly the iphone with otherwise cosmetically pristine exterior (after thorough cleaning and drying) could not be revived as it had been pounded by the waves, being submerged too long resulting in irreparable internal water damage. Another happy person reunited with his silver clip the sentimental value of which is priceless. Somehow it suddenly flew off with a “buzz” and got lost in the sugar sand as he was getting up from his beach chair. Luckily I was close by, able to come to the rescue. After determining and marking off an area, a grid pattern search was performed and the item was quickly recovered. A smile is worth a thousand words!

Another successful Florida gulf water ring revovery. What a difference a day makes. While enjoying the afternoon in the warm gulf water on his annual extended family vacation, Jim (who’se name has been changed so as to provide anonymity) suddenly noticed his deceased mother’s silver ring slip off his finger. A big shout out to Tony Schell who assisted in the recovery, 3 hours of searching uncovered the needle in the haystack. The ring had actually moved about 75 yards in 24 hours. Who you gonna call when things seem lost…remember, its only lost until you call!! Trust and go with God for there are no coincidences in His Kingdom.

While spending the day with his family in Marco Island and playing in the waves with his son, Thomas realized his gold band with two large diamonds was no longer on his finger. After spending the afternoon looking with a metal detector without any luck, his wife took to the internet and began posting the loss. Lost GOLD FOUND! After spending a day on the beach and getting ready to call it a day, it took several guys to get the boat off the sandbar. That’s when it happened, while making a quick phone call, he realized that both of his bracelets that he’d safely stowed in his dry bag were missing. Well, it’s only lost until you call. Having receive the call for help, we coordinated a plan to get there by boat, carefully checked the tide charts, and arranged the time and place to meet.
