[June 25, 2019 – Naples, Florida]  “Es war mal wieder eine wunder schōne Urlaubszeit in Florida.  Unsere verlorene Ringe wurden gefunden.”  While on vacation from Germany and spending a day at the beach with her husband, Juliane suddenly noticed her gold ring slip off her finger and disappear in the surf.  With increasing wind and waves crashing from an incoming thunderstorm they ended their search, declaring the ring forever lost.  That was Wednesday – on the following Monday – that’s 5 days later – I received the call.  After getting fairly precise location information and spending nearly 4 hours searching the general area – no luck.  Returning to the same spot and preparing to considerably expand the search area the ring was found deep in the sand, having moved nearly 100 yards from the point of loss.

[June 7, 2019 – Marco Island, Florida] While vacationing with family and spending the day at the beach, Beth suddenly noticed that her two gold rings were missing as she was exiting the water.  Neither ring had been off her finger in over 17 years, one being her wedding ring and the other given by her now deceased grandmother.  As the family frantically searched their gear, clothing and beach bags, an adjacent tourist searched for help on his smart phone.  Well, the rest is now history – the smiles and hugs of joy and thanksgiving say it all – “prayers answered and thank God” for what was once lost has been found.

[June 7, 2019 – Marco Island]. While swimming with his wife at the beach Peter suddenly discovered that his wedding band had silently slipped off his finder.  Having gotten married only months earlier, getting the ring resized was still among the many “to do’s” still on the list.  After checking the local lost and found sites on the internet, Peter found and called for professional help.  After thoroughly gridding about a 100 yard stretch of beach, the ring which had been lost days earlier finally turned up.  What was once lost has been found!

[May 27, 2019 – Naples, FL]  It’s only lost until you call!  Well, while helping another person recover a lost ring, another request for help is received.  After searching the internet and inquiring about metal detector rentals, someone mentioned having earlier seeing the “metal detector guy”.  Praise God – prayers answered and what was lost is again found.  The smiles and elation say it all – “NO WAY” “I can’t believe it!” – my Irish Claddagh ring is back on my finger.

[May 27, 2019 – Naples, FL] While swimming in the crystal clear water, Nora suddenly noticed that the gold “Love” ring gifted by her now deceased grandmother had suddenly come off her finger.  After about an hour and a half of searching without luck, someone suggested “call a metal detector guy.”

As our motto goes “It’s only lost until you call!”  She ended up calling the right person.

Well, there being no coincidences, just appointments – what was once lost has been found!
